XpanDH, funded by Horizon Europe and in collaboration with the European Commission was pleased to hold the European Electronic Health Record (EHR) Exchange Format Expert Summit on Tuesday 12 December 2023 in a hybrid format—both in-person in Brussels and online.
Organised by the XpanDH project, co-organised and hosted by the European Commission the expert summit aims to bring together European projects, initiatives and key stakeholders with an interest in co-constructing the vision for the EEHRxF, its development process and use. We had a diverse range of over 100 attendees spanning e-health, interoperability, and beyond!
The expert summit showcased invited projects’ use cases, development and use of interoperability assets, challenges addressed and the business drivers and benefits they aim to demonstrate. Participants will explore ways to collectively scale up pan-European adoption. Simultaneously, we sought to discuss additional primary and secondary use cases to expand EEHRxF’s scope, encompassing broader data content and permitting stakeholder access at individual or population levels.
