Shape the Future of Healthcare: Join XpanDH’s Community of Doers and Co-creators!

  • by

Co-creation refers to a collaborative design process in which input from end users plays a central role from beginning to end. It’s a process of collecting ideas and input directly from the business users and owners, ensuring a better chance of adoption of a service or deployed solution because end-users are at the source of its design. In the context of healthcare, the user experience of both patients and professionals is key for the operation of an ICT solution. The idea is to create value from the initial phases of design.

In XpanDH we envision developing this concept to reduce the digital divide between stakeholders in understanding and adopting complex terms under the European Electronic Health Record Exchange Format (EEHRxF).

Who are we?

XpanDH supports an expanding ecosystem of individuals and organisations that are developing, experimenting and adopting the European Electronic Health Record Exchange Format (EEHRxF) providing a crucial contribution to the EHDS. XpanDH is a 2-year Coordination and Support Action project financed by the Horizon European Framework Programme.

What is the Community of Doers?

The Community of Doers and Co-creators brings together implementers and end-users of new and existing solutions, IT developers and vendors/suppliers; patients and healthcare professionals, in a 3C-3P community (co-creation community of Patients, Professionals and Programmers). The scope of this open community is to find use cases and business needs that would be reused in practice domains of the European EHR (Electronic Health Record) Exchange Format in a bottom-up co-creation approach.

How can I contribute?

ParticipationParticipation is open to individuals from the communities of Patients, Professionals, and Programmers engaged in the healthcare sector.
WhoWhether representing patients or professionals, working as a programmer for an economic operator, or being involved in academia, start-ups, or innovation, anyone can contribute.
People, organisations, entitiesWe seek people, organizations, and entities eager to delve into developing innovative, person-centred concepts that demonstrate the value of EEHRxF in practice.
