  • by
Madeira Digital Transformation week 27 June

June 27, 2024 – Madeira, Portugal

As part of the Madeira Digital Transformation Week, an impactful workshop was held on June 27th, focusing on the expansion of networks within the XpanDH adoption domains and beyond. The workshop, led by Maria Marques of UNINOVA, drew around 30 participants and highlighted key aspects of the XpanDH project, including the presentation of the EEHRxF Format, Ecosystem Activation strategies, and the current status of X-Bubbles.

The event was strategically scheduled back-to-back with the xShare project workshop, creating a full session dedicated to the exploration of the Format. This arrangement allowed participants to delve deeply into the intricacies of the Format, fostering a richer understanding of how it facilitates digital health transformation across Europe.

A standout feature of the workshop was an interactive exercise designed to demonstrate the transformative power of interoperability within digital ecosystems. Participants engaged in hands-on activities that revealed how interoperability can fundamentally change how ecosystems function and adapt, leading to more integrated and efficient health solutions.

The workshop not only showcased the progress and current status of X-Bubbles, a key component in the XpanDH project, but also provided a platform for participants to discuss the challenges and opportunities in activating and expanding digital health ecosystems. The discussions emphasized the importance of interoperability as a catalyst for innovation, enabling diverse systems to work together seamlessly, thereby enhancing the overall effectiveness of digital health initiatives.

This exchange of knowledge and expertise is crucial as the XpanDH project continues to advance, aiming to create a more connected and interoperable digital health landscape across Europe.

The workshop at Madeira Digital Transformation Week marked a significant step forward in the XpanDH project, reinforcing the networks and partnerships necessary for the successful adoption and integration of digital health solutions.
